What Is Liposhifting?

Liposhifting is a newly advanced procedure that enables fat to be replaced elsewhere without it ever being removed from the body.

How Does It Work?

The procedure is relatively simple. A patient could have an indentation in the skin, possibly due to injury, a previous liposuction imperfection, or just something that has developed over time. In the past, fat would be harvested from one part of the body and injected into a new body area. Now, fat can be broken down and pressed over to the area to be filled. The broken down fat is then released back into the body through the larger hole located at the bottom of the head of the unit.
